O‑ring seals are typically manufactured from nitrile rubber, natural rubber, chloroprene rubber, ethylene–propylene rubber, fluoroelastomer, silicone rubber, and various compound blends. In addition to the standard O‑shape, other cross‑sections include triangular, rectangular, D‑shaped, T‑shaped, square, heart‑shaped, X‑shaped, pentagonal, and olive‑shaped profiles.
Advantages of silicone O-rings:
1. After formulation, the tensile strength can reach 500 PSI, and the peel strength can reach 88 lbs.
2. Good and exhibits excellent compression set.
3. Exhibits excellent resistance to neutral solvents.
4. Exhibits excellent heat resistance.
5. Exhibits excellent cold resistance.
