Dust‑proof silicone rings _ Custom silicone dust‑proof rings _ Silicone ring manufacturing supplier

Silicone rubber rings exhibit excellent heat resistance, low‑temperature elasticity, and outstanding resistance to oxidation and ozone. They also possess high gas permeability and selective gas‑permeation properties, along with superior electrical insulation, corona resistance, and arc resistance. By incorporating conductive carbon black, nickel powder, aluminum powder, or silver powder, they can be rendered suitably conductive. Furthermore, silicone rubber rings have a relatively low surface energy and hygroscopicity, enabling them to serve as an effective barrier.

    Performance of silicone sealing rings:

Heat resistance: Silicone rubber exhibits significantly superior heat resistance compared to conventional rubbers. It can be used continuously at 150°C for virtually unlimited periods without any loss of performance, withstands continuous operation at 200°C for up to 10,000 hours, and remains serviceable for extended durations even at 350°C. It is widely employed in applications demanding high thermal stability, such as sealing rings for thermos flasks and heat‑resistant handles for pressure cookers.

Cold resistance: While ordinary rubber begins to lose its elasticity at around –20° to –30°, silicone rubber retains good elasticity even at –60° to –70°. Certain specially formulated silicone rubbers can withstand extremely low temperatures, such as in low‑temperature sealing rings.
