O-ringThe use of methods and uses to introduce
O-ring is a rubber sealing ring with a circular cross-section. Because its cross-sectional shape is O-shaped, it is called O-ring. There are many materials for O-ring sealing ring. The main materials are nitrile rubber (NBR), silicone rubber (SIL), fluorine rubber (VITON), ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM).
Seal ring is widely used in aerospace, shipbuilding, military, hardware industry, fire, pneumatic components, smelting and so on. The sealing ring should be kept in direct sunlight for a long time, and should be sealed and preserved. Working pressure of sealing ring: 0-300MPa; Working speed: ≤ 15 m/s; Working temperature:-55-250 ℃. It is also one of the most widely used hydraulic and pneumatic transmission systems. Usually in Taiwan enterprises, Japanese enterprises are called oring.
O-ring is a circular cross-section ring of rubber seals. Mainly used for mechanical parts to prevent leakage of liquid and gaseous media under static conditions. In some cases, the o-ring can also be used as a dynamic sealing element for axial reciprocating motion and low-speed rotary motion. According to different conditions, different materials can be selected to adapt to it.
O-ring ring is usually selected to try to choose a large cross-section o-ring. In the case of the same gap, the volume of the O-ring seal that is squeezed into the gap should be less than the maximum allowable value.
For different types of fixed or dynamic sealing applications, o-rings provide designers with an effective and economical sealing element. O-ring is a two-way acting sealing element.
The initial compression in the radial or axial aspect upon installation gives the o-ring its own initial sealing capability. The sealing force generated by the system pressure and the initial sealing force are combined into the total sealing force, which increases with the increase of the system pressure. O-ring in the static sealing occasions, showing a prominent role. However, in dynamic applications, o-rings are often used, but they are limited by the speed and pressure at the seal.

Technical data pressure:
Speed:
The maximum reciprocating speed in static situations can reach 0.5 m/s
When there is no retaining ring, the maximum pressure can reach 20mpa and the maximum rotation speed can reach 2.0 m/s
When there is a retaining ring, the maximum pressure can reach 40mpa
Medium and temperature:
When there is a special retaining ring, the maximum pressure can reach 200mpa, see the "Rubber Seal Material Characteristics Table"
Maximum compression:
When there is no retaining ring, the reciprocating movement can reach up to 5mpa. Static seal: 20% of the diameter of the o-ring
When there is a retaining ring, the higher pressure dynamic seal: 30% of the diameter of the o-ring
Advantages of O-ring: 1.O-ring has simple structure and low cost. 2.O-ring has various specifications and materials, and has a wide range of applications. 3.O-ring has simple design, small structure, and easy assembly and disassembly. 4.O-ring The sealing ring is suitable for various forms of sealing, such as dynamic sealing, static sealing and so on.
