Temperature is one of the key factors and leakage factors that affect the use range of O-ring seals. The temperature is generally within the range of 60 ℃ to 327 ℃. High temperature or low temperature conditions require special sealing materials to be selected. The only condition for achieving an effective sealing effect.

Among the commonly used rubber sealing materials, perfluoroether rubber sealing has excellent high temperature resistance characteristics. The working temperature range of ordinary perfluoroether rubber sealing is at least 25 ℃ to 240 ℃. Special types of fluoroether rubber sealing materials can withstand constant temperature of 316 ℃ or intermittent high temperature of 343 ℃, thus preventing failure problems such as hardening and embrittlement of sealing ring, therefore, under high temperature conditions where other rubber sealing materials are not applicable, perfluoroether rubber sealing materials can be selected.
The rubber sealing material will also cause the embrittlement of the O-ring at low temperatures, thus failing the sealing effect. Generally, it is not recommend to be used in low temperature environments. Rubber sealing material in the low temperature resistance is the best silicone rubber sealing material, and low-temperature brand-level models use the lowest temperature up to -100 ℃, the only disadvantage is low tensile strength, weak wear resistance, generally can not be used for dynamic sealing, not suitable for as a safety valve sealing ring.
Low temperature resistance is second only to silicone rubber sealing material is the use of fluorosilicone rubber sealing material temperature range of -60 ℃ to 177 ℃, in maintaining the silicone rubber sealing material on the basis of low temperature resistance, greatly strengthen the chemical resistance and mechanical properties. In low temperature conditions, we can only prefer fluorosilicone rubber sealing material.
