What is the reason for the size of the silicone tube tolerance? There are tolerances in the production of any product. This tolerance is related to many factors.
1. Due to the influence of the head temperature, under the same extrusion conditions, if the head temperature is too low, the inner diameter of the extruded silicone sleeve becomes larger, and the wall thickness of the silicone hose becomes thinner. When the extrusion temperature is higher, the inner diameter of the silicone hose becomes smaller, and the wall thickness of the silicone hose becomes thicker.
2. Due to the influence of the melting point and fluidity of the extruded material, the fluidity of the silicone key material is closely related to the temperature. With the increase of temperature, the apparent viscosity of the material decreases and the fluidity is good. When the temperature of the machine head decreases, the apparent viscosity of the material is higher and the fluidity is poor. Forced extrusion makes the pressure of the machine head plus the sealing ring large, and the tube blank from the die produces elastic recovery due to the release of stress, the degree of expansion is also proportional to the previous pressure. At the same time, the poor fluidity of the material makes the material less extruded, resulting in the inner diameter of the silicone hose becoming larger and the wall thickness becoming thinner.
With the gradual increase of temperature, the flow performance of the extruded material in the machine head is improved, the pressure of the machine head is reduced, and the extrusion inner diameter is reduced due to the corresponding reduction of stress elastic recovery. On the other hand, the extrusion amount of the material increases with the improvement of the flow performance of the silicone product factory, which thickens the wall of the silicone hose.
3, the influence of different screw speed and traction speed, at the same temperature, the diameter and wall thickness of the extruded silicone sleeve has a great relationship with the screw speed and traction speed. With the increase of the extrusion speed, the inner diameter of the silicone sleeve will become larger and the pipe wall will become thinner. The lower the head temperature, the more obvious the change will be.
What is the cause of yellowing of transparent silicone products? Transparent silicone products have yellowing in a few years or months after production of seals. Sometimes during production, some newly released transparent silicone products look yellow and seem to have changed color. The properties of vulcanizing agent are divided into common type and yellowing resistance. Its application scope includes rubber products in the following two aspects:.
1. The ordinary type does not resist yellow vulcanizing agent, and is applied to some non-exposed silicone products that can be used for darker colors or low color requirements.
2. Anti-yellowing vulcanizing agent is applied to products that need to be exposed, have lighter and brighter colors, and require higher rubber buttons for colors.
Sometimes we add anti-yellowing vulcanizing agent to the rubber compound, but the transparent silica gel product still looks yellow after molding, which may be that the anti-yellowing ability of the raw material is too poor, and the suggestion for the raw material with poor yellowing resistance is to change the material directly.
