2. Injection molding: For more complex silicone rubber seals, such as tire treads, silicone hoses and steel wire surface coatings, injection molding is required. This is a continuous molding method, through various holes (also called templates) The silicone mixture is molded into the extruder funnel under internal thread extrusion. Before extrusion, the silicone must be preheated to make it soft and easy to extrude, to obtain a smooth surface and precise dimensions of the silicone seal ring.
