The air bubbles caused by raw materials include raw rubber, water contained in the compounding agent itself, glosses and gases produced by chemical reactions. The most bubble-producing component in the compounding agent is the plasticizer (including softener). Because plasticizers are mostly oils and fats, containing low-temperature volatiles and water mostly; among them, pine tar and coal tar are more. In order to remove water, silica gel product processing manufacturers often heat and evaporate pine tar and coal tar before mixing. Even in this case, the easily volatile substance and the low molecular substance in the plasticizer are volatilized at the time of kneading heating or vulcanization heating to generate pores or bubbles.
The water and adsorbed gas contained in the reinforcing fillers such as carbon black and clay are also one of the reasons for the generation of bubbles in silica gel products.
The fiber material and the steel cord are also important factors for causing bubbles, and the fiber and the steel wire itself contain air and moisture. A variety of products do not often produce bubbles, the reason is that the dispersed and dissolved gas and water in the rubber material, through the skeleton material, to the direction of low pressure and collection caused.
In terms of processing technology, there are more factors that produce bubbles in the production process; it can be said that most of the bubbles in silicone products are caused by improper process operation.
Mixing and hot refining often bring in water and the material acting as an isolation agent, in addition mixing and hot refining process often penetrate into the gas, and the amount of deep gas and temperature exponential relationship. The higher the temperature, the greater the gas penetration.
Sulfur deficiency is also an important cause of bubbles and pores in silica gel products. Because the tensile strength of the sulfur rubber is not high, the gas molecules inside the rubber are easy to diffuse and concentrate in the rubber.
Solution:
1. It is difficult to eliminate the air entering the mixture. The common method is to fill in the blank.
2. When the extrusion temperature is high, the rubber material is easy to produce bubbles, so the extrusion temperature should be controlled.
3. In order to export the gas of calendering compound, the method of installing a bubble roller on the middle roller can be adopted.
4. The generation of large bubbles is mostly caused by lax molding operation process. Due to a large amount of non-volatile gasoline mucilage during molding, it may also adhere to base friends and other magazines. However, these problems can be overcome and solved by strengthening operation and management.
5. Avoiding bubbles caused by gasoline is solved by increasing the self-adhesion of the rubber material (not directly using gasoline glue) and ensuring the cleanliness of the pad cloth. If the molding operation found bubbles should be removed immediately.
6. In addition, reasonable mold design of silicone products makes the mold have reasonable hole position and sufficient number of exhaust holes, and ensures that the rubber material can be evenly heated and compressed in the mold. 7, vulcanization pressure and vulcanization temperature should be appropriate (according to different rubber to determine).
