Rubber O-ringWhat are the advantages and disadvantages of the material classification?
Rubber O-ringWhat are the classifications, including what are the advantages and disadvantages.
"Ding Qing rubber sealing material (NBR)" of 1. rubber O-ring seal: Ding Qing rubber sealing material (NitrileRubber) is formed by copolymerization of acrylonitrile and butadiene. The content of acrylonitrile is from 18 to 50. The higher the content of acrylonitrile, the better the resistance to hydrocarbon fuel oil of petrochemical oil, but the low temperature performance is worse. The general use temperature range is -25~100 ℃. Butyl rubber is one of the rubbers for oil seals and O-rings at present.
1. Advantages of Ding Qing rubber O-ring: It has good oil resistance, water resistance, solvent resistance and high pressure oil resistance. · Good compression skew, abrasion resistance and elongation.
2. Disadvantages of nitrile rubber O-ring: · Not suitable for polar solvents, such as ketones, ozone, nitro hydrocarbons, MEK and chloroform. · Used in the production of fuel tanks, lubricating oil tanks and in the petroleum system hydraulic oil, gasoline, water, silicone grease, silicone oil, diester lubricating oil, glycol hydraulic oil and other fluid media used in rubber parts, especially sealing parts. Can be said to be the current use, cost of rubber seals.

2. rubber O-ring "fluorine rubber (FPM)": fluorine rubber O-ring (FluoroCarbonRubber) molecular fluorine-containing rubber, according to the fluorine content (I. e. monomer structure) and there are various types. At present, the widely used hexafluororubber is listed by DuPont under the trade name "Viton.
High temperature resistance is better than silicone rubber, chemical resistance, resistance to most of the oil and solvent (except ketones, esters), weather resistance and ozone resistance; cold resistance is more, the general use of the temperature range of -20~250 ℃. Special formula can withstand low temperature to -40 ℃.
1. Advantages of fluorine rubber O-ring seal: it can resist heat to 250 ℃. it has resistance to most oils and solvents, especially all acids, aliphatic hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons and animal and vegetable oils. 2. Disadvantages of fluorine rubber O-ring seal: it is not recommended to use ketones, low molecular weight esters and mixtures containing nitrate. · Automobiles, locomotives, diesel engines and fuel systems. · Seals for chemical plants.
