The role of silicone gasket and the correct use of the method?
Silicone gaskets are widely used in electronic products. The main function of silicone sheets is to transfer heat through gaps to achieve the effects of insulation, shock absorption and sealing. Second, when taking a large area of thermal conductive silicone film, it should be grabbed from the central part, because the large silicone pad is unevenly stressed, which will cause deformation and affect subsequent operations.
Third, when using the left hand should take the sheet, the right hand to tear off one side of the protective film. Do not remove both protective films at the same time. To reduce the number and area of direct contact with the silicone pad, to ensure that the silicone pad self-adhesive and thermal conductivity is not damaged.
Fourth, tear off the side of the protective film, to the radiator. Align the silicone pad with the radiator when it is slowly lowered. Be careful to avoid the formation of bubbles. When tearing off the other side of the protective film and putting it into the radiator, the force should be small to avoid pulling or pulling up the silicone pad.
Fifth, if bubbles are generated during operation, you can use tools to gently erase the bubbles, but the force cannot be too large to avoid damage to the thermal conductive silicone pad. You can also pull up one end of the silicone gasket and repeat the above steps to operate again.
Sixth, after fastening or using a strong adhesive silicone gasket, apply a certain pressure to the radiator and store it for a period of time to ensure that the silicone gasket is fixed.
