Manufacturing method of conductive rubber key
Conductive rubber is an adhesive that has a certain conductivity after curing or drying. It usually takes the matrix resin and the conductive filler, that is, the conductive particles, as the main components, and the conductive particles are bonded together by the bonding action of the matrix resin to form a conductive path and realize the conductive connection of the bonded material.
The working principle of conductive rubber keys
Conductive rubber keys have two important conductive principles.
The tunnel effect causes the particles in the conductive rubber keys to form a certain current path. When the directional motion of free electrons in a conducting particle is hindered, this hindrance can be regarded as a potential energy barrier. According to the concept of quantum mechanics, for a microscopic particle, even if its energy is less than the energy of the barrier, it may not only be reflected, but also cross the barrier. The phenomenon of microscopic particles crossing the barrier is called the penetration effect or tunneling effect. The electron is a microscopic particle, so it is possible to block it by the isolation layer between the conductive particles. The probability of an electron passing through the isolation layer is related to the thickness of the isolation layer and the difference between the energy of the barrier of the isolation layer and the energy of the electron. The smaller the thickness and the difference, the greater the probability of electrons passing through the isolation layer. When the thickness of the isolation layer is small to a certain value, electrons can easily pass through the thin isolation layer, so that the isolation layer between the conductive particles becomes a conductive layer. The conductive layer caused by the tunneling effect can be equivalent to a resistor and a capacitor.
One is that the conductive particles contact each other to form a conductive path, so that the conductive rubber keys are conductive. The stable contact between the particles in the adhesive layer is caused by the curing or drying of the conductive adhesive. Before the conductive adhesive is cured or dried, the conductive particles are individually present in the adhesive in discontinuous contact with each other, so that they are in an insulating state. After the conductive adhesive is cured or dried, the volume of the adhesive shrinks due to the volatilization of the solvent and the curing of the adhesive, so that the conductive particles are in a stable and continuous state with each other, thereby exhibiting conductivity.
